FROM THE PERSONAL COLLECTION OF TOM HANKS

SIGNED 1957 VOSS DELUXE 

I am offering up this VERY SPECIAL typewriter that I personally received as a gift from Tom Hanks for sale. A 1957 Burgundy Voss Deluxe that is signed by Mr. Hanks. This was part of his personal collection of typewriters.

This is a 1957 Voss Deluxe in burgundy. It is beautiful and usable. It has a nice flow. (One note: the tab and margin release are not working correctly.)

The typing performance is very smooth and enjoyable. I have created a demo video so you can see the typewriter in action.

Tom Hanks' signature is prominently featured on the left side of the cover. I will be including the letter, which is framed, that accompanied the typewriter, confirming that this typewriter is from his personal collection.

In addition to the letter, I am including the following:

• A Play Tone towel that was sent with the typewriter. (Play Tone is Mr. Hanks' production company)
• Special Edition booklet written by Tom Hanks titled, THESE ARE THE MEDITATIONS OF MY HEART. I acquired this booklet through Thornwillow Press as a member of their monthly book program. This was a limited edition booklet and the version I'm including sold for $65 but is no longer available.
• This typewriter does not have a case.

The typewriter is being sold AS IS. Shipping and insurance is included in the price. We will double-box the typewriter to make sure it arrives safely.
