DESCRIPTION:: What an attractive machine. We’ve repainted this 60’s Coronet in a deep purple and it’s lovely. Electric typewriter with a manual return. The typing action is EXCELLENT and suitable for active writers and fast typists. There are two things I need to point out. 1. The tab does not work on this machine (not a big deal as some typewriters don’t even have a tab option). and 2. The right margin is finicky in that the carriage will stop at the margin but the typing action will continue. Please watch the demo video as I show you how to work with this. The margin release works fine and the bell sounds great. I’ve adjusted the price to reflect these two minor issues.

Still a nice typing machine, I loved the feel of it! Great for kids, very nice budget typewriter, it even types so well I’d recommend it for heavy use. Again, please watch the demo video for a more detailed explanation of the performance.

If you purchase the warranty option, we will cover any mechanical issues NOT mentioned in the listing or demo video as a result of regular daily use for 6-months from the day our tracking information shows that the typewriter has arrived. We recommend taking out your typewriter immediately and testing it for any issues. This warranty covers performance issues such as broken draw band, stuck keys, space bar malfunction, etc. It does NOT cover damage done to the exterior (chipped paint) or damage from misuse or accidents, such as dropping, banging, improper use. Any attempts to adjust or repair the typewriter on your own VOIDS the warranty.

The customer is responsible for returning the typewriter to our shop at your own cost and insured.
We are responsible for repairing the typewriter at no cost and returning it to the customer, insured, at no cost to the customer.
