IMPORTANT! Even though the portable covers are around 16-18″ wide from seam to seam, they fit the 12″ carriage typewriters which actually measure around 15-16″ wide with the handles. Also, the width has room to expand an inch or two, if needed. All the photos are of this cover on a 15″ wide Smith Corona Electra 220. Note: the depth and height are less forgiving.
