We CLEAN, SERVICE, REPAIR, & TEST all our typewriters. All our typewriters come with a new ribbon installed.

REMEMBER, YOU ARE PURCHASING A VINTAGE ITEM! This typewriter is over 50 years old!

I recommend using a dust cover when not in use.

DESCRIPTION

Imagine staring out over Walden pond as you write on your Adler J2, building your own story to pass down to your family and others interested in benefiting from your experiences and life lessons! This typewriter is minimalistic, clean, and humble – but excellent in nature.

The Adler is less common than many other brands but those that use Adler typewriters will tell you these are quality machines. It comes in a 2-pc case. The typewriter locks into the bottom piece and the top snaps on.

This one is in really nice condition and types beautifully. I recommend watching the Adler J2 tutorial and then the typing demo videos so you have a full picture of how to use this typewriter including reversing the ribbon, locking/unlocking the carriage, and watching how well this types.

A new black/red ribbon is installed. It is serviced, cleaned, and tested and is ready to go as soon as it arrives!

We’ve serviced, cleaned, and tested the typewriter and it is in wonderful condition. Please watch all the video links we provide in this description.

6-MO WARRANTY INFO:

If you purchase the warranty option, we will cover any mechanical issues NOT mentioned in the listing or demo video as a result of regular daily use for 6-months from the day our tracking information shows that the typewriter has arrived. We recommend taking out your typewriter immediately and testing it for any issues. This warranty covers performance issues such as broken draw band, stuck keys, space bar malfunction, etc. It does NOT cover damage done to the exterior (chipped paint) or damage from misuse or accidents, such as dropping, banging, improper use. Any attempts to adjust or repair the typewriter on your own VOIDS the warranty.

• The customer is responsible for returning the typewriter to our shop at your own cost and insured.
• We are responsible for repairing the typewriter at no cost and returning it to the customer, insured, at no cost to the customer.
