WORKS WITH QUIRKS. What a great little typewriter for a great price! This Smith Corona Galaxie Twelve is a working typewriter but does occasionally skip between characters. Take a look at the typewriter font sheet and the typing demo video I created so you can see what I mean.
The skipping is not that bad but it is there so that is why I’m recommending this for kids or casual, personal typing projects. Use it to write journal entries, first drafts, poetry, typewriter art, crafts.
We’ve repainted it in this bright summer yellow to bring a bit of sunshine to your room!
