A fun 1973 Royal Custom III in the original colors. The original case comes with the key AND it has the original owner’s manual!!
We kept the original colors on this fun retro machine. The Royal Custom III looks very similar to the Royal Sabre but has a leatherette quilted front plate. There is some visible wear on the typewriter but definitely not more than expected and still looks fantastic. It has some yellowing on the front plastic around the keys but I really like the authentic vintage look.
Mechanically this typewriter is EXCELLENT! If you’re an avid writer and you really want to switch to writing on a typewriter but don’t necessarily want the older look but more retro, or want to pay the higher prices for an Olympia or older Royals, then this is a perfect option for you! It will handle your larger writing projects well as it has a smooth feel, making it easy to get into a writing groove.
For casual writers, you’re going to love it for all the same reasons. ❤️
