Wowee!! What a looker! ?
The Voss vintage typewriter is German made and was manufactured from 1890-1964. This model has a very sleek, modern look – even for a 67 year-old machine! They are hard to come by and are incredible performing machines.
It’s our first rodeo with the Voss typewriter and we’re in love. It feels similar to an Olympia: nice smooth strokes. I definitely recommend this for an active writer. Has the original case. Be sure to watch the demo video so you know how to use it as there are some notable differences.
The Voss has Gullwing ribbon covers, meaning they fold outward. The video will show you how to open them up as it took us quite awhile to figure it out. Also, even though it types well, be aware that this typewriter is better suited for those with longer fingers due to the keys being further apart and having to press farther down.
A new universal ribbon is installed, she’s cleaned, and ready to go! You can purchase replacement ribbon in our Etsy shop or on our website: www.jotandtittletypewriters.com
