1946 Smith Corona Sterling Speedline manual typewriter. A very handsome black typewriter with shiny speedlines. The keys are a bit unique as they seem to be a metal wrap over the original keys. This is not common but there are other Smith Corona Sterling typewriters with the same keys so it must have been an option for folks.
The decals have some wear but overall look wonderful. The exterior is in nice condition.
As far as performance, the typewriter is wonderful and nice option for active writers. I recommend it for medium-to-heavy use. The keystroke action needs a sure hand and good followthrough. Does have a nice flow so I think book writers will enjoy it.
