What a beautiful machine! The Remington Rand 5 has a sleek and curvy look that is lovely to look at. Not only that, but she types so well. A nice choice for casual writers, poets, letters. The enamel is in fantastic condition with very minor signs of wear.
One note: the left margin does not work so you need to make sure to load the paper against the paper guide to have a proper margin. See the video below for an explanation.
The original case is in decent condition. Signs of wear and the locks can be sticky.
Remingtons use specialty ribbons with a 1″ metal spool. We’ve installed fresh ribbon for you and it should last quite awhile. See our video to learn how to reverse the direction of your spools. When it is time for new ribbon, we can re-roll your metal spools with fresh ink here.
