This is a collector’s delight!! A 1929 UNDERWOOD 4 BANK, WOODGRAIN FINISH with matching spool covers! Not only is it a beauty and hard-to-find, but it works really well! No need to pause when wanting to type a letter or anything else on this antique item. This guy can handle it! The only issue is the paper does slip and can be tricky to load. Please see the demo video I created so you know exactly what I’m talking about.
BONUS!! This antique typewriter has the MATCHING WOODGRAIN SPOOL COVERS. Most of these typewriters are missing the spool covers – not to mention the ORIGINAL MATCHING covers!
Even so, as far as typing, it does quite well. The shift lock does not hold after 2 characters, but this is fairly typical of the older typewriters.
A new ribbon is installed and it’s waiting for someone who understands the gold nugget to be had!
